- Viticultural year: 2023 was once again an atypical year, witha warm and rainy winter, a very hot and dry spring and a hot
summer, but considered normal due to the rainfall recorded in June and September.
The high temperatures and low rainfall in some of the months of the growing
season contributed to the year being considered warm and normal in terms of rainfall, but with deviations from the climatic pattern.
- Grape varieties: Rabigato, Viosinho, Donzelinho and Malvasia Fina.

- The Wine: From the slopes of Quinta do Castelo and a terroir set at altitude in Santa Marta de Penaguião, Baixo Corgo, the blend
consists of the Rabigato, Viosinho, Donzelinho and Malvasia Fina grape varieties. It is fermented in new 400-litre French oak barrels and aged on total lees
for 10 months.
- Grape growing and winemaking: Manual harvesting, whole bunch pressing and cold static decanting. Transferred to French oak barrels
for fermentation. Aged on the lees for 10 months.
- Tasting notes: Appearance: citrus yellow in colour;
Nose: white stone fruit, mineral notes, slightly toasted;
Palate: rich and unctuous with great final freshness.
- Serving suggestions: Serve at 12°C. Goes well with all types of fish and shellfish, white meats, salads and soft cheeses.
Good as a starter.
